AI Platform Engineer

About the Role:

• This role owns the platform that keeps Givzey secure, compliant, reliable, and scalable.
• You'll work across AWS infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, AI services, and developer tooling.
• You'll partner with engineering, ML, and product to design the platform powering everything from APIs to LLM workflows.

What You'll Do:

• Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure, managing networking, IAM, compute, storage, and databases.
• Own Infrastructure as Code strategy using Pulumi, build reusable components, and eliminate manual changes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, AI infrastructure for Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker, and improve observability.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years building and operating production software systems with strong AWS experience.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi, Terraform), CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and Python.
• Familiarity with AI infrastructure like Bedrock, SageMaker, and RAG; strong written communication and ownership mindset.

What This Isn't:

• This isn't a traditional DevOps role where tickets get tossed over the wall.
• This isn't an SRE role focused exclusively on uptime.
• This isn't an ML engineering role building models.
