Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain production and non-production database environments across cloud and hybrid infrastructure.
- Monitor database health, performance, and availability, responding to alerts and incidents.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including backups, restores, patching, and index optimization.
Mandatory Skills:
- 3–6 years of experience in database administration or engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server in production.
- Solid understanding of backup and recovery strategies and performance troubleshooting.
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on experience with AWS, including services like RDS.
- Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Basic scripting skills using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
