Fundraising Internship

The Democratic Governors Association (DGA) is seeking a Fundraising intern for the Fall 2025 term. This internship offers interested students the chance to obtain practical political experience within the DGA Fundraising & Events Department. Intern duties include donor research, policy research, fundraising/event management, and administrative support to the DGA staff. Fundraising interns are assigned a variety of projects and tasks that support the DGA staff within the Fundraising, Events, Policy, and administrative departments. Fundraising interns mainly report to the Corporate Relations, Major Donor, and Events Assistants for assignments and feedback, as well as regular check-in’s with the Intern Coordinator who manage DGA’s internship program. The DGA offices are based in downtown Washington, DC and are currently in a hybrid work protocol.
