Job Description
This role is essential in managing patient intake processes, ensuring efficient communication, and maintaining confidentiality while adhering to all relevant guidelines and regulations. Responsibilities include taking care of and monitoring prior authorization requests, communicating with patients to obtain insurance information, answering phones, receives all referral and intake information.
Complete referral/intake forms and route them appropriately for admission approval. Assist in the scheduling of appropriately skilled person to fill the case, inputs scheduling information on the computer. Check common working files for Medicare Coverage and verification of benefit period. Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
Successfully collaborates and communicates with coworkers from various departments. Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary remotely.
