Senior Biomedical Research & Data Governance

Research Governance:

• Lead the development of policies and processes that guide research design, data collection, analysis, and dissemination.
• Oversee scientific community governance with consortia and institutional partners to ensure ethical, accountable research and data sharing.
• Champion systems that protect participant rights and preserve scientific integrity.

Data Governance:

• Drive responsible data sharing by evaluating sensitivity and designing governance approaches like access controls.
• Assess emerging privacy considerations and update compliance methods to address current needs.
• Lead initiatives that enable sharing while upholding ethical, legal, and regulatory standards.

Compliance & Emerging Technologies:

• Ensure adherence to ethical, legal, and institutional requirements; contribute to incident investigations and CAPA plans.
• Lead initiatives that enable the responsible application of AI and other developing technologies in governance.
• Promote AI tools for documentation, process improvement, and novel uses within the governance field.

Collaboration & Training:

• Develop and implement standards for data sharing and governance education across the organization.
• Lead partnerships with internal teams and external collaborators to negotiate data-sharing terms.
• Mentor and champion comprehensive privacy and compliance training programs as a subject matter expert.
