Key Responsibilities:

  • Review consent language, disclosure protocols, and microdata releases to confirm alignment with federal laws and agency requirements.
  • Advise program staff on regulatory and procedural compliance for research ethics and data protection.
  • Provide high-level statistical disclosure review of microdata files and tables prior to public release.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in health sciences, social sciences, statistics, or a related field.
  • Regulatory literacy in 45 CFR 46 and IRB procedures, including complex informed consent scenarios.
  • Working knowledge of the Paperwork Reduction Act and OMB regulations, and familiarity with statistical disclosure limitation methods.
