Electrical Engineer - Utility Distribution Power Systems - Oil and Gas

About the Position:

• As a mid-level Electrical Engineer in the Oil & Gas group, you will support industrial, utility, and oil & gas projects throughout North America.
• Focus areas include power system studies, utility distribution engineering, substation support, and detailed electrical design.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare computer-based models and perform power system studies including short circuit, load flow, arc flash, and coordination.
• Develop electrical deliverables such as one-line diagrams, control schematics, equipment specifications, and construction packages.
• Coordinate with clients, utilities, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology; electric power option preferred.
• 2-6 years of relevant experience in utility, industrial power systems, or oil & gas.
• Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, or similar power system analysis software.
