Responsibilities:

  • Perform power system studies such as EMT, overvoltage, harmonic, flicker, and transient recovery voltage.
  • Develop dynamic generator/load models, perform disturbance ride through model tuning, and PSCAD/PSSE model benchmarking.
  • Conduct steady state studies including load flow, short circuit, and power quality.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in power system modeling and studies.
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering with power system emphasis.
  • Experience with control system tuning, Data Center projects, and transmission line studies is an asset.
