Senior Power Systems Engineer - EMT Studies

Overview:

• We are designing the grid of the future and are seeking a Senior Engineer with EMT modeling background.
• This role involves working with senior leadership and providing subject matter expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Perform electromagnetic transient studies including subsynchronous resonance, control interaction, and overvoltage analysis.
• Develop local system EMT models and conduct disturbance ride through model tuning.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in power system modeling and studies.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering with power system emphasis.
• Proficiency in PSCAD, EMTP, PSSE, or equivalents.
