Engineering Manager (Personalization)

Team Leadership:

• Lead and grow a cross-functional team of Machine Learning Engineers, Backend Engineers, and Data Analysts.
• Act as a player-coach: contribute to architecture, model design, technical reviews, and key implementation decisions.
• Guide research and experimentation efforts, balancing long-term innovation with near-term business impact.

Technical Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning systems in production.
• Strong understanding of ML fundamentals and hands-on experience with modern ML frameworks.
• Strong Python skills and experience with large-scale data systems and distributed systems.

Business Impact:

• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to identify opportunities for increasing customer revenue and conversion.
• Drive retailer KPI improvements through continuous iteration and A/B testing.
• Scale personalization capabilities and advance the state of the art of ecommerce machine learning in production.
