Engineering Manager (mobile)

Role Overview:

• Lead mobile engineering teams responsible for Android and iOS applications.
• Combine people leadership, technical oversight, and delivery accountability.
• Ensure mobile products support business objectives and offer excellent user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor and support a team of mobile engineers, fostering growth and high performance.
• Own delivery of mobile solutions from planning through release and improvement.
• Provide technical leadership in mobile architecture and development best practices.
• Plan and coordinate work, ensuring clear priorities and predictable delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on roadmaps and goals.
• Ensure solutions meet quality, security, and platform-specific requirements.
• Identify and manage technical and delivery risks proactively.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years in software development including mobile technologies.
• 2+ years in engineering leadership or people management.
• Proven experience delivering mobile applications at scale.
• Strong knowledge of mobile architectures, clean code, and testing.
• Hands-on with Android (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines) and iOS (Swift, SwiftUI, Combine/RxSwift) or cross-platform frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, and modern DevOps.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
