Designer - Audiovisual

In the mid-level Designer engineering role, the Designer II will be proficient in their production skills in Revit and will have a basic understanding of one or more of the disciplines. This individual supports or manages the process of virtually constructing a building and documenting the design contract from the construction documents set through record drawing submittals. This is an opportunity to choose which discipline they would like to become an expert in. Essential duties include learning the building design process, attending client meetings, preparing Revit models and AutoCAD drawings, assisting with specification preparation and design calculations, researching technical product information, assisting with job site inspections, and performing delegated tasks from senior staff. Successful candidates will have a BS in Engineering (electrical preferred) or equivalent experience, knowledge of the AEC industry, and proficiency in software applications like G Suite, MS Office, Bluebeam, Slack, Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks.
