Senior Backend Software Engineer

Backend Development:

• Focus on new features within the Subscriptions system and system stability.
• Involve creating new subscription plans and tracking updates from subscription providers.
• Ensure users always have the correct access.

Responsibilities:

• Make and give feedback on architectural decisions.
• Improve existing systems’ observability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.

Collaboration:

• Work with Data Engineers to ensure an accurate picture of subscription purchasing behavior.
• Discuss tradeoffs and scope with Cross Functional stakeholders like product or design.
• Participate in an occasional on-call rotation with the team.
