Senior Evaluation Consultant

Global Health Visions (GHV) is seeking an experienced Senior Evaluation Consultant to support our partners with end-term and external evaluations, and to strengthen monitoring, learning, and evaluation (MLE) systems. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience applying OECD-DAC evaluation criteria within MLE frameworks and be proficient in a range of evaluation methodologies, including realist evaluation, contribution analysis, process tracing, and general elimination theory. This consultant will provide strategic leadership in designing evaluation approaches and methodologies and will offer technical guidance to GHV team members on data collection, analysis, and interpretation. Responsibilities will include leading the application of rigorous MLE frameworks to evaluate complex programs, employing diverse methodologies for data collection and analysis, developing comprehensive inception reports, and designing inclusive data collection tools. Provide technical oversight and mentorship to evaluation consultants and research associates and lead the synthesis of evaluation findings and develop actionable recommendations. Facilitate virtual and in-person workshops using inclusive, participatory methodologies. The scope of work for this client and portfolio will require knowledge of the issue areas with the ability to think strategically and respond to the needs of the client while also providing recommendations to increase impact and outcomes.
