Reverse Mortgage DE Underwriter

Longbridge is seeking a motivated Reverse Mortgage DE Underwriter to join the Underwriting team. The underwriter will be responsible for underwriting files and establishing conditions to meet FHA and LBF guidelines, making timely and accurate decisions, and evaluating risk to ensure the quality of each loan decision. The underwriter will also be responsible for reviewing all areas of the mortgage loan file to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities include clear and concise communication to appropriate parties, partnering with processing to close loans on time, adhering to service level agreements, and maintaining quality control standards, as well as identifying, recommending, and/or negotiating alternative loan documentation requirements.
