Senior Python Engineer, DataFeed Team

About the Role:

• Work close to the domain of sports events, leagues, teams, players, markets, odds, scores, and schedules.
• Ensure data correctness, timeliness, observability, and resilience against unpredictable external feeds.
• Join a squad where engineering decisions have direct product impact.

What You'll Do:

• Design, build, and maintain Python services for data ingestion, transformation, and distribution.
• Integrate with third-party sports data providers and handle variations in models and formats.
• Improve data validation, reconciliation, monitoring, alerting, and replay tooling.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of strong production experience with Python and Django.
• Experience with Apache Kafka, async programming, and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• A senior ownership mindset with ability to break down ambiguous problems and communicate clearly.
