Senior Site Reliability Engineer (US Shift)

Solve complex reliability problems at scale as a Senior SRE. You will join our SRE team, supporting both our developers and the AlphaSense platform, and working on platforming and tooling with the freedom to propose and experiment with solutions. The scale of our operations presents unique challenges, requiring us to adapt open-source solutions to fit our needs. As part of this role, you will play a key part in championing and shaping the SRE culture at AlphaSense, helping to define best practices and drive reliability across the organization. Mission : Elevate our product’s reliability to the level of precision associated with Swiss watch brands, targeting 99.99% uptime. Collaboration : Engage with our engineering teams and contribute to the improvement of their software application through first-class observability. Responsiveness : Participate in an on-call rotation, promptly addressing AlphaSense availability incidents, and offering support for application engineers during incidents. Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve production issues spanning multiple services and technology stacks. Analyze complex systems to pinpoint and address root causes of problems efficiently. System Operations & Reliability : Assist with daily production system operations, including incident response, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Help ensure smooth system operation, contribute to automation, and address operational challenges.
