Director - Data Architect (Microsoft Data & AI)

## Role Overview:

• Provide architecture leadership for Microsoft Data & AI practice, focusing on scalable, secure, and governed data architectures.
• Lead client discovery, solution design, and implementation, ensuring modern data environments and AI readiness.

## Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as trusted advisor, leading architecture workshops and translating business needs into executable architectures.
• Define target-state architectures using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and integrated patterns, including Medallion Architecture.
• Embed data governance, security, and quality using Microsoft Purview or Unity Catalog, and design AI-ready platforms.

## Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, with 12+ years technology experience.
• 5+ years architecture leadership, with deep expertise in Azure data solutions and AI technologies.
• Strong technical foundation in SQL, Python, Spark, and experience with Fabric, Databricks, and Azure AI services.
