Principal Designer - Platform

Mitratech is looking for a Principal Designer to lead design for foundational initiatives—including ARIES (agentic + chat interfaces) and Elevate (AI-forward design system)—that sit at the core of our AI and platform strategy. The role will partner closely with engineering, product, and research to scale our design system into an AI-enabled framework, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and efficiency across the organization. This person will also drive user-centered innovation cycles, gathering customer feedback, running research, and translating insights into scalable design patterns that support both near-term execution and long-term differentiation. This is a high-impact role for a designer who can balance visionary thinking with systematic rigor, and who is motivated by the opportunity to define how AI shapes our products and design practices at scale. Essential duties include leading AI Design System Development (Elevate), shaping Foundational AI Experiences, scaling Design Operations & Innovation, and deepening Customer-Centricity.
