About the Role:
- The Infrastructure Design Engineer plans and designs data center whitespace environments to support high availability and scalability.
- This role ensures whitespace layouts, power distribution, cooling, and cabling infrastructure meet operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design whitespace layouts including rack placement, aisle configuration, and airflow strategy.
- Collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams to integrate power distribution and cooling infrastructure.
- Develop CAD/BIM drawings, schematics, and capacity planning models to forecast growth.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in data center design, preferably in cloud or hyperscale environments.
- Proficiency with CAD/BIM tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and knowledge of industry standards like TIA-942.
