What you'll do:
- Lead the platform-as-a-service: Hercules Database, backend services, and SDKs.
- Own performance and scale: latency, throughput, and resource efficiency.
- Run customer application infrastructure with reliability and strong tenant isolation.
What you'll bring:
- Deep software fundamentals: system design, architecture, data modeling, API design.
- Production experience with Rust, data systems, and distributed infrastructure.
- Ability to use AI to 10x your workflow and codebase quality.
Stack and culture:
- Technologies include Typescript, React, Postgres, Redis, Clickhouse, Docker, and AWS.

Compensation and benefits:
- $100k-$300k plus equity, depending on seniority and location.
