Charge Description Master Coordinator

CDM Management:

• Maintains a complete, accurate, and standardized charge master.
• Processes CDM requests to ensure consistency with proper charging, billing, coding and pricing practices.
• Maintains and updates all charge master related software.

Compliance and Analysis:

• Assigns accurate CPT/HCPCS and revenue codes to the Charge Master ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Conducts quarterly audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Completes ACD requests and reviews department charge tickets and charge capture policies and procedures.

Coordination and Improvement:

• Coordinates the work for the CDM team.
• Develops solutions to improve coding and billing functions.
• Identifies trends in charges and notifies management.
