Role Overview:
- Own the device software system end to end, defining architecture and driving fast, iterative delivery.
- Lead a team of 3 firmware engineers and stay hands-on writing production code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect safety-critical software and own FMEA, safety case, and NRTL certification.
- Design revenue-grade metering systems including data acquisition and calibration.
- Drive hardware-software co-design, firmware integrity, and secure OTA updates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in EE/CE/CS with 7+ years in firmware engineering shipping products at scale.
- Expert in C, C++, or Rust with deep bare-metal/RTOS experience on 32-bit MCUs.
- Technical leadership experience partitioning workstreams and shipping code yourself.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range $155,000 - $209,000 USD with equity and 401(k) match.
- Flexible paid time off and health insurance covering 75% for employees and dependents.
- Based in Philadelphia with hybrid schedule; remote candidates considered with travel.
