Job Description
As a Senior SWE specializing in POS Android, we expect you to be the main technical reference of the team, responsible for disseminating knowledge in software architecture for embedded systems and robust code design. You will guide the good practices of unit and integration tests on physical hardware, in addition to offering support and mentoring to the team's developers. We are looking for someone passionate about challenges that combine software and hardware. You will have "hands on" participation, diving into the code to evolve the payments platform, develop new functionalities on terminals, and ensure that our technical solutions are safe and scalable, adopting the best development practices for Android on embedded devices. You will act directly in the development and maintenance of the software embedded in the Android POS terminals. You will deal with ambiguous problems and challenging prioritization, balancing deadlines and quality in the delivery of features for the terminals. You will be influential in the team's technical decision-making, detailing highly complex solutions, and will ensure the quality, scalability, security and performance of the product/platform.
