Director, Billing and Payment Operations

This role is responsible for ensuring a simple and versatile payment experience for customers and optimizing global payment processing. It involves leading the development of Rocket Lawyer’s billing, payment processing, and payment risk management roadmap. Collaboration with Product Management, Operations, Engineering, Finance Risk/Security and external platform partners is key. The role requires maintaining expert-level understanding end-to-end billing and payment operations and driving increased internal efficiency. Ensuring Rocket Lawyer uses current alerting and risk management solutions and mitigating fraud losses is essential. Defining and delivering regular data analysis and insights, owning vendor relationships, and leading a high-performing Payment Operations team are also critical components. Candidates need 8-10 years in payments at a SaaS or subscription-based e-commerce business along with experience using Stripe.
