Principal NodeJS Backend Developer

As a Principal NodeJS Backend Developer, you will act as a technical leader and strategic partner within our Engineering organization. Beyond building high-quality backend services, you will set technical direction, mentor engineers across levels, and influence cross-team decisions that shape the scalability, reliability, and performance of Voicemod’s platform. You’ll work closely with Product, Data, and DevOps, helping us build systems that support millions of users while keeping speed, quality, and security at the core. In this role, you will define and evolve backend architecture and guidelines to ensure scalability, resilience, and long-term maintainability. Act as a technical reference for backend and cross-functional teams, reviewing designs, sharing best practices, and mentoring engineers. Influence engineering strategy by connecting technical decisions with business impact.
