About the Role:
- We are seeking a Senior Database/Application Engineer to bridge database infrastructure and application development.
- You will design and modify data models, write high-performance database code, and ensure APIs interact safely with relational and document databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, modify, and optimize data models for production applications, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Create and manage complex relational tables in MS SQL Server and document structures in MongoDB, including query tuning and indexing.
- Plan and execute schema changes safely within a live application ecosystem, collaborating with backend and frontend teams.
What We're Looking For:
- 8+ years of database engineering or backend development experience with deep SQL Server and MongoDB expertise.
- Strong understanding of web application architecture, API integrations, and enterprise codebases.
- Ability to overlap 4-5 hours daily with US Central Time stakeholders and collaborate with distributed teams.
