SCADA Development and Commissioning Engineer I

Project Execution and Development:

• Lead the concept development, design, programming, and commissioning for SCADA projects, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Partner with vendors and internal engineering groups to create development plans, code, test plans, and deployment guides for new screen and scripting development.
• Document system specifications, interface designs, and test plans for Factory, Site, and Commissioning Acceptance Tests.

Technical Skills and Support:

• Utilize Aveva Edge and other HMI/SCADA software, with proficiency in industrial communication protocols like TCP/IP and OPC UA for system integration.
• Apply intermediate knowledge in scripting languages such as Python and VBScript to customize and enhance HMI/SCADA applications.
• Perform PLC commissioning efforts and provide support for system troubleshooting and integration activities when needed.

Work Environment and Travel:

• Operate in a professional office environment using standard equipment, with significant travel required to various industrial sites.
• Adapt to site-based environments, using PPE and electrical tools, while meeting physical demands like lifting 25 pounds and climbing ladders.
