Job Description
As a Cloud Engineer, you’ll play a key role in managing, automating, and securing our cloud infrastructure. You’ll collaborate closely with software engineers to support containerized applications, streamline CI/CD workflows, and maintain secure, scalable environments. The Cloud Engineering team also handles DevOps responsibilities across the organization. Your responsibilities will include: Managing cloud environments (primarily AWS and GCP) with a focus on reliability, scalability, and security Supporting container-based applications (e.g., ECS, Cloud Run, etc.) using Docker or equivalent technologies Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions Writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to provision and manage infrastructure (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar) Responding to cloud security alerts and findings, and assisting in security posture improvements Participating in the team’s on-call rotation Supporting developers with database environments (mainly RDS and DocumentDB), ensuring performance and operational readiness Using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to automate, troubleshoot, and code more efficiently
