OSP Design Engineer

Network Design:

• Specific route planning and serving area architecture.
• Produce detailed construction-ready prints, including conduit configuration.
• Perform optical power budget calculations and material selection.

Field Engineering & Data Collection:

• Conduct physical site surveys and walk-outs to validate route feasibility.
• Assess pole loading and identify necessary make-ready work.
• Validate "as-built" documentation against actual field conditions.

Permitting & Right-of-Way (ROW):

• Create comprehensive permit application packages.
• Ensure all designs adhere to local codes and ordinances.
• Respond to technical inquiries from permitting agencies.

Quality & Project Support:

• Perform self-checks and peer reviews on design prints.
• Generate accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and Labor estimates.
• Act as the technical point of contact for construction crews.
