Manager Application Security

We are seeking a hands-on, strategic, and technically proficient Manager / Senior Manager of Application Security to lead a growing team of security engineers. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment, is passionate about scaling secure development practices, and can dive deep into technical challenges while fostering a high-performing and psychologically safe team culture. You must have the ability to assist the team with developing and implementing the solutions the team is responsible for. The ideal candidate will hire, mentor, and grow a world-class team of application security engineers, conduct regular 1:1s and foster psychological safety and career development, and train team members in candidate screening and managerial interviewing. They will also lead and perform complex application security reviews and threat modeling, provide expert guidance on security architecture, tooling, and secure coding practices, develop scalable security solutions such as automated testing and centralized libraries, and own and evolve documentation and procedures for security reviews.
