About the Role:
- The Contacts Team powers contact management for HighLevel's CRM platform, handling 400 million new entities daily.
- As an SDE-2, you will work with senior engineers to design and build backend services, gradually owning features from development to production.
- You will solve real-world engineering problems around APIs, data processing, reliability, and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Build scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript, including REST APIs and asynchronous processing.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in APIs and databases, leveraging caching, indexing, and batching.
- Monitor production services, debug failures, and participate in on-call and incident resolution.
