Senior Back End Engineer

You will be building backend services in Node.js that power an entirely new betting exchange. The candidate will design scalable systems that can handle the kind of volume you’d normally see at global banks. The engineer will work side by side with engineers, product, and design in their Melbourne hub. The role involves shipping fast, iterating often, learning every day. The candidate needs 6+ years in software engineering (Node.js, AWS, databases, scaling). You’ve built, scaled, and maintained production systems. They should like ambiguity and solve problems without waiting for someone else’s instruction manual.
