Software Engineer — Rust Infrastructure & Systems Engineering

Edera is looking for a systems-minded Rust Infrastructure & Systems Software Engineer to help build the secure-by-default foundations of container infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and supply chain integrity. This role is ideal for someone who lives at the intersection of secure systems, developer workflows, and low-level runtime internals, and who thrives in environments where correctness, composability, and automation are non-negotiable. You’ll work on foundational tooling that supports reproducible pipelines, trusted build artifacts, and container infrastructure that integrates with cutting-edge security technologies. This role involves building and maintaining Rust based infrastructure components, designing and implementing secure build pipelines, championing test automation, contributing to container runtime and image builder tooling, developing reusable and declarative test frameworks, embedding with the systems team, collaborating with Kubernetes, Rust, and Linux subsystems, and solving high-priority issues.
