Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to drive RDBMS, Warehousing and BigData solutions for our global BookData business. You will work with and be responsible for curating the largest English-language bibliographic metadata and book sales measurement data sets in the world.
This is a remote position based in the UK with occasional travel required to central London. Responsibilities include designing and developing enterprise database solutions, optimizing data storage and retrieval processes, troubleshooting performance issues, implementing data privacy and security measures, participating in cross-functional projects with other developers, contributing to overall data architecture and standards, and reporting daily progress and blockers to scrum master.
