Job Description

The primary role of MEL is to engage in meaningful peer-to-peer scientific dialog with healthcare system National Thought Leaders (NTLs) within a defined geography. The MEL conducts critical activities that support advancing science, educating on evolving clinical practices, transforming science into patient care, and facilitating the development of new research collaborations (including Investigator Initiated Trials and Real-World Evidence). The role collaborates with colleagues on capturing medical insights and acts as a therapeutic area resource to cross-functional partners. Engagement with TLs should be aligned with medical strategies, and the role should provide insight back to home office to inform strategy. This role is field-based and regional in scope. It is anticipated that the employee will spend ~ 50- 60% of the time in the field interacting with external stakeholders, including investigators and clinical thought leaders while supporting internal stakeholders and maintaining a high level of therapeutic expertise.
