Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize the push notification engine on Google Cloud Run using FCM v1 and APNs HTTP/2.
- Build and scale the campaign engine on Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL), adapting transient compatibility shims for the frontend.
- Implement streaming data ingestion pipelines from Cloud Storage to Pub/Sub, and design CDC pipelines between AWS and GCP.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of proven backend development experience with microservices (Node.js, Go, or similar).
- Advanced relational database skills (PostgreSQL/Cloud SQL) and NoSQL experience (DynamoDB, Firestore).
- strong experience with messaging systems (Pub/Sub) and resilience patterns (DLQ).
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of push notification architectures (FCM v1, APNs HTTP/2).
- Experience implementing CDC solutions and legacy system interoperability.
