Senior Backend Engineer

Your Role:

• Play a key role in building OMSX, the unified gateway and dashboard for the Polygon Open Money Stack.
• Shape how developers interact with the Polygon Labs ecosystem.
• Contribute to critical system design decisions.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and build backend systems that power OMSX and the broader Polygon Open Money Stack.
• Optimize PostgreSQL queries and data models for high-scale production environments.
• Collaborate closely with frontend and platform teams.

What You'll Need:

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience, including 3+ years working with Go.
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, including query optimization.
• Proven ability to build systems from scratch.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience building financial systems or payments infrastructure.
• Familiarity with developer-facing platforms.
• Exposure to Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, or GitHub Actions.
