Senior Infrastructure Engineer

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for architecting, developing, and optimizing the infrastructure, network and other components underpinning the various Backlight products. This role requires taking ownership of significant infrastructure development while ensuring scalability, performance, and security. The Senior Infrastructure Engineer collaborates closely with development teams, product managers, and security teams to deliver robust solutions in an agile environment, using GitHub for code and infrastructure as code management. Key responsibilities include developing and configuring tools for monitoring and deployment, participating in maintenance of production, test and staging environments, ensuring cloud platforms run smoothly and can be monitored efficiently, and troubleshooting complex production issues promptly.
