Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will prepare and record complex journal entries, such as prepaid amortization, accrued expenses, and advanced intercompany journals. They will record and reconcile revenue recognition and deferred revenue in accordance with ASC 606. The candidate will prepare Account Reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts and investigate any discrepancies. They will perform variance analyses and provide insights into account detail to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial statements. This person will own the accounts payable cycle by maintaining vendor records, collecting and entering vendor invoices, submitting vendor invoices for payment, processing and reconciling corporate cards, and processing employee reimbursements. They will lead annual 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC compliance reporting. The candidate will review client contracts and generate fixed fee and engagement-based invoices, and collect and apply client payments. They will enter and reconcile patient financial transactions in the EMR system, as well as process payroll for both clinical and administrative staff, by ensuring accuracy and completeness of hours, earnings and deductions. They will also prepare bank reconciliations for all bank accounts in multiple entities, alongside other responsibilities as assigned.
