Job Description
As the Staff Backend Engineer, you will architect and implement critical backend systems to power the new mobile app, including unified authentication and mobile-friendly APIs. You will also lead the technical strategy for customer-facing products and co-own architecture reviews, identifying risks and shaping service design. Drive continuous improvement in development workflows, optimizing for delivery speed and product quality.
You will mentor engineers, support decentralized technical decision-making, and collaborate with product, QA, design, DevOps, and data teams. Contribute to a culture of blameless postmortems and sustainable progress.
