About the role:
- Build the foundation of how quoting works at Hippo.
- Design and deliver the next-generation quoting platform.
- Enable more accurate estimates for homes.
Responsibilities:
- Working on building the next-generation quoting platform.
- Architect and implement backends and their interactions with various data stores and other APIs.
- Design, build, and maintain reliable software solutions that power critical parts of the business.
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on software development experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js.
- Practical knowledge of at least one relational database system.
- Experience with microservices and system design patterns.
