Senior Backend Engineer

As a Senior Backend Engineer , you’ll play a crucial role in evolving our Core Backend domain —owning key architectural decisions, modernizing legacy systems, and supporting product teams with best practices for APIs, database design, and performance. You’ll help ensure that our cloud-based platform, hosted on AWS, stays robust, reliable, and ready for the future. You will design, develop, and maintain core backend services using PHP (Laravel) and ideally Go, take ownership of architectural guidelines and support product teams on API design, database usage, and performance optimization. The role also involves actively driving the reduction of technical debt and the modernization of legacy components and ensuring that reliability, scalability, and performance are at the core of every solution.
