Job Description
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our team. This professional will be responsible for defining the governance of the platform, implementing security practices (including RBAC), standardizing projects, and automating processes using tools like JIRA. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in cloud environments, infrastructure automation, and container orchestration.
Responsibilities include defining and implementing governance and security policies for projects in GCP, automating development and operation processes using JIRA and other tools, collaborating with teams to facilitate the adoption of standards and best practices in IT, managing the operation of cloud platforms, implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, ArgoWorkFlow and ArgoCD, maintaining and optimizing the observability of infrastructure and applications using tools like Prometheus and Grafana, and contributing to the orchestration and management of Kubernetes and its associated tools.
Requirements include solid experience in Linux and operating systems, proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting, advanced knowledge in networks, practical experience with the operation of cloud services in GCP, familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, orchestration of plugins and complements in Kubernetes, and the ability to implement and use observability tools.
