Mid Back-end Engineer (NodeJS) – Risk&Capital

As a Mid Backend Developer, you’ll join our Risk & Capital team, the business charter building the foundation for how we understand and manage risk across Hippo. Your work will focus on creating the data infrastructure we currently lack – building integrations, microservices, and data pipelines to connect us with industry-standard risk and capital models and tools. You’ll partner closely with product, data engineering, analytics, and business teams across multiple domains to drive meaningful projects from concept to delivery.  You’ll design, build, and maintain reliable backend solutions that power critical parts of the business.  You’ll actively shape our software architecture, bringing your ideas and expertise into technical discussions.  You’ll balance maintaining existing systems with developing new features, ensuring stability while pushing innovation.
