The Senior Software Engineer will collaboratively design, build, and maintain modern cloud-native solutions to power the ongoing revolution in open science. You will contribute designs, code, tests, code reviews, and excellent judgement towards the development and continuous improvement of our digital platforms.

As Relyance AI’s ML/NLP Engineer, you will strategize, drive, and execute on the initiatives in NLP for information extraction from legal documents, ML/NLP for information extraction from code and general ML in code analysis, as well as overall AI backend initiatives. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to design and build flexible, powerful, and robust features that scale the impact of AI for our customers.

Bring new features for our customers to life while working in a combined frontend/backend team of professionals. Tasks may include developing new or existing connectors to partners, building API for our frontend team, or implementing background calculations while closely working with the database. Together with your team, you will be able to make our clients happier.

We’re looking for an RL researcher or practitioner who will apply reinforcement learning to solve real-world customer communication challenges. You'll work closely with the CTO and Engineering team to improve sample efficiency, test credit assignment and attribution algorithms, investigate and improve our approach to action space featurization, reward shaping, and combining RL with constrained optimization.
