Job Description

Emory University School of Medicine’s Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences is seeking a full-time Radiologist to read evening emergency department and inpatient work. The position is eligible for remote work and is for expansion due to increased volume. This evening position rotates 1 week on (7 days, 9-hour shift, 6p-3am) and 2 weeks off. This equates to 121 clinical shifts per year (17 weeks of remote clinical evenings per year!). Remote work is permitted from anywhere in the USA except New Jersey, Hawaii, or Alaska. This evening radiologist will focus their clinical care exclusively at one of the Southeast’s busiest Level 1 trauma centers (Grady Memorial Hospital), providing interpretations in conjunction with trainees. The primary clinical scope will involve chest and abdominal imaging. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills and function well in the fast-paced, time-sensitive emergency setting. Candidates should be prepared to participate in both the clinical and non-clinical divisional activities, including education and trainee supervision. There are opportunities for additional extra duty clinical work for additional salary if desired.
