Senior Level - Technical Debt Project Manager

North Dakota Health and Human Services (NDHHS or HHS) has received funding for the removal of twenty-seven applications from their portfolio that are currently using technology that is no longer supported and/or running on the State of ND’s Mainframe system. The work involves coordination between IT and Business Stakeholders to incorporate existing solutions, develop new solutions, change IT processes and reduce technical debt and remove all data and from Mainframe IBM Z-Series storage like COBOL, DB2 and ADABAS. Proven experience in project management, specifically in managing technical debt is required. The candidate needs excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders. Previous experience in retirement of Mainframe Technologies as a Project Manager is required with 10 years' experience managing IT projects and 5 years' in software development.
