What you’ll do:
- Design and develop next-generation Security Platform Management capabilities
- Build and optimize scalable backend services and data models in Ruby on Rails
- Develop and maintain robust REST and GraphQL APIs that power security workflows.
What you’ll bring:
- Proficiency in backend development with Ruby on Rails
- Experience designing and optimizing PostgreSQL schemas and queries for large-scale data
- Experience building and maintaining REST and GraphQL APIs
About the team:
- The Security Platform Management team sits within GitLab’s Security Risk Management area
- Our team consists of 8 backend engineers, 1 Product Manager, and 1 UX designer distributed across the US, Israel, and India.
- We own initiatives such as the new Security Manager role system, security assets inventory with posture sharing logical asset gathering and statistics, and unified configuration for GitLab’s security tools.
