Sustaining Engineer (Golang, Kubernetes)

Mirantis is looking for a talented Sustaining Engineer with experience in Golang, Docker, Kubernetes and public clouds to help us maintain and evolve the Containers platform. You will join the Sustaining Engineering team working on the following technologies: Mirantis Kubernetes Engine , Mirantis Secure Registry and Mirantis Container Runtime. You are a friendly, effective communicator who is inherently interested in solving complex problems and delivering a high-level of customer satisfaction with every customer interaction (via help content and tickets). You enjoy building reproducers and finding bugs. You sling code for fun. You will work closely with Knowledge Management, Engineering, and Product Management to represent the voice of the customer. Main Responsibilities include becoming an expert in Mirantis Cloud Native Platform technologies and customer deployment environments, researching customers’ software patches requirements, designing and developing features along with patch improvements in Golang for Mirantis Cloud Platform, apply advanced troubleshooting techniques (debug and diagnose) on critical, highly complex problems that span multiple layers of the technology stack, reproduce customer issues and package bug reproducers for product engineering.
